Metal Used in our Body Piercing Jewelry

We use grade 23 surgical titanium (Ti6AL4VELI) for all titanium body jewelry products. This is a grade recognized world wide for medical devices, including the international standards organization in Switzerland and the ASTM in the USA. Heart valves, pacemakers and replacement human body parts are made from grade 23 surgical titanium.

Titanium is the best of metals used for body piercing jewelry because it is 100% compatible with the human body, not producing allergic reactions, skin irritations or discoloration of any sort. Titanium also weighs two times less than stainless steel, which makes titanium pieces such as belly rings & nipple rings very beneficial for initial piercings. Despite its light weight, titanium is extremely durable.
